How to make Word 2013 document read only

In word 2013, you can protect your document easily. You can set up your document be “Read-only” file. So, there is no one can modify your document except you. How set up it? Check the direction below!

  1. Click “FILE”
  2. word file save
  3. Click “Save as”
  4. word file save
  5. Select and click where you want to save  document and click “Browse”
  6. Click “Tools”
  7. word file save
  8. Click “General Options…”

  10. Check “Read-only recommended” and click “OK”
