In PowerPoint 2013, you can insert and control the playback of your video easily. You can insert a video from your computer or from internet, such as from YouTube and Facebook. Then you can control the video playback, for example you can edit the fade duration of your video and set when the video will start playing.

First steps. Launch the PowerPoint 2013 application and then insert a video to your slide. You only need click the insert tab and then click on the video button. Next, you select where you will insert your video from, if you want to insert video from computer, then you have to click “Video on My PC…”



Second steps.  Click on your video and then click the playback tabs. See the video options group, next change “On click” on the start box into “Automatically”

There are many tabs display in PowerPoint 2013. Such as, home, insert design, transitions etc. Nevertheless, by default the developer tab is not display. If you need it to write and run macros, use XML etc. then you can show the developer tab on the ribbon anytime.
